Text-Enable a Landline Number

When text-enabling a landline number, we simply host the SMS features and leave the calling features with your current carrier.

What To Expect:

  1. You will need to provide the phone number that we will be text-enabling. It must be written exactly how it appears on your phone bill.
  2. After our team starts the process, you will receive a phone call with a verification number. We will need that verification number to continue.
  3. You will then need to complete a Letter of Authorization confirming that you do indeed want to text-enable your phone number.
  4. The text-enablement process can take around 3 hours after all of the necessary information has been provided.

Text-Enable a VoIP Number

Text-enabling a VoIP number is very similar to enabling a Landline number, as for most people, this process does not require switching phone carriers. Though, to complete this process, you will need to contact your current carrier and have them remove the SPID from your number. This releases control of your SMS capabilities so we can host that on our end.

What To Expect:

  1. You will need to contact your current VoIP carrier and have them remove the SPID from your number.
  2. You will need to provide the phone number that we will be text-enabling. It must be written exactly how it appears on your phone bill.
